Maker’s note:
People say my moon-stool expensive so ya lor.
Brief:
Our hand-jointed moon-gate stool pays homage to the timeless farmer’s / clothes washer’s / bath stool.
But, a stool is a stool is a stool, and this simplified stool draws lessons from the moon-gate stool; featuring angled legs supported by a bridge, a near indestructible design that accommodates shear movement of sitting while minimising wood use.
We enhance this indestructibility by making every stool from a single plank of wood; ensuring that relative wood movement is minimised over its lifetime across various humidities and temperature changes.
