This is a counter proposal
To extraction, ego, and domination.
FRIENDS is a nonprofit worker-owned craft cooperative that produces high quality home goods at a fair price, for a fair wage.
More specifically:
(1) The Coop builds household goods that are made for life;
(2) using traditional methods that are decentralised and embodied;
(3) in its craftspeople who all have voting rights and choose a democratically negotiated share of the profits;
(4) to be sold at an affordable and accessible price
(5) in order to politically empower a more kind, affordable, and skilled society — in other words, an experimental machine in viable worker alternatives to capitalism.
TL;DR: It’s a kopitiam for crafts.
